Two facial scrubs that will make you smile.

I love how these two homemade scrubs make my face feel. Although I have not done them in some time, I just happened to go through my old homemade recipes that i have inquired throughout different places over the years. So, I Figure why not share a few of them with you.

Honey & Brown sugar facial scrub: use a 1/2 of cup of pure natural honey
(store brought use plain honey)
1/2 of cup of brown sugar
1 tbsp of olive oil
mix ingredients together in a bowl
apply the mixture to your face and massage in a circular motion to be sure that you’re removing any dead skin. Finally rinse with warm water and then apply your favorite facial moisturizer. You can use this scrub once a week. If you have sensitive skin, you may want to try this scrub twice a week. This is good to use during the winter season, when the weather is more rough.

Another good one includes two of my favorite things, chocolate and coffee! Which also just happens to be good for your skin as well 😉
You will need a bowl to mix with, coffee beans, baking cocoa and honey.
You can substitute the honey for olive oil if you choose.
Note: make sure that you grind or smash the coffee beans up as finely as you can make it.
1/2 a cup of finely grind coffee
1/2 a cup of baking cocoa
1/4 of plain honey
mix the ingredients into a bowl
Apply to skin and massage onto your face in a circular motion. Rinse with warm water &apply your favorite moisturizer.
