I have worked New York fashion week for years, doing so many different jobs and with all the women and men modeling, I never understood why the men never had their own show. The men in New york City is just as fashionable as the woman are.  I live here in New York and there have been plenty of times, that I’ve seen the guys out do their girls. Finally here is your chance guys for all you fashionable men out there. The council of Fashion Designers of America is looking to add New York City on it’s men’s Fashion Week tour. The chief executive of the council, mentioned in a recent press interview that they have enough strong designers new and established that can make a statement for American designers. The Mayor of New York City and the New york Economic Development Corp. are supportive of the idea. Right now most men’s wear designer showcase their collection’s abroad. Milan and Paris is the place to go for the buzz worthy Marc by Marc Jacobs shows, now New York may be added onto that line up for men’s Fashion Week.
