Styling out in Pittsburgh this week

Wadria Taylor is the founder of Style Week Pittsburgh is ready for the third annual lineup with old and new designers that she snatched up from around the city. It’s starting to become more then just idea with designers trying collaborate or host a event at their own venues. Style Week Pittsburgh kicks off Wednesday for the five day event and ending on Sunday with locations all over the city. If you are in the Pittsburgh area and have a little free time you should check the events out. Opening night will be held at the Kelly-Strayhorn theater in East Liberty.

The designers for the event are Diana Misetic, Jasmin Jackson, Lana Neumeyer and Toya Taylor. To kick things off before the show guest are invited to get glamified at the Phillip Pelusi salon beauty and grooming bar, not to mention you also get to browse a few  awesome fashion trucks that will be parked on location. Get your dancing shoes ready, I heard from a friend of mines who lives out in Pittsburgh that there will also be an after party held inside the theater.  The proceeds from the event will be donated to Dreas for Success Pittsburgh, which is a nonprofit charity that outfits women with business style clothing and accssories for women who may not be able to afford the attire.
Wadria Taylor seems to have everything going on during the week, you can also donate an accessory to donate to the cause and get $5 off the admission price. Thursday the fashion event will move to Perle at Market Square, on Friday the events will be at Luxe showroom, Saturday you can do some retail therapy with the pop up fashion markets in Market Square and then wrap things up on Sunday with a lovely brunch at Fieldwork Contemporary Gallery.

make sure that you’re dressed to impress hunnie, because all week during the event prizes will be given to the Best Dressed Guest. It sounds like it will be a fun filled week in Pittsburgh and the more that friend tells me about it, I begin to get all excited thinking about Fashion Week when it hits here in New York in a few weeks.
