I woke up this morning with the news of David Bowie’s passing at the age of 69 and just like everyone else it came as a complete devastation. I had no idea that he was battling cancer within the last year and a half. David Bowie was a musical master mind and enjoyed a beautiful marriage to super Iman. David Bowie was not your typical singer who had just a little something to him, the man had it all! Bowie was a multi-instrumentalist, producer, songwriter, actor and fashion geniuse!
Everyone is talking about his best movies and it kills me when ever they leave out Labyrinth. How could day?! It was one of the most memorable movies for people in my generation (Jim Henson is the man) movie a million times through out the years, including owning the soundtrack lol. It’s a sad day for Bowie fans everywhere and of all ages. David Bowie kept his career going for 46 years and he continued his love for the arts until he took his last breath Sunday evening. There is so much to be said about such a brilliant man, but I will leave that for another time. For now, I have decided to take this time to share some of David Bowie’s amazing love for music and fashion!
