It was a packed house on the first night of Fashion Week in New York City and the attendance was high for Jeremy Scott’s 2018/2019 Fall/Winter collection. The venue was filled with Celebrities, Social Media influencers and the main stream media, all shifted and packed in to for a good look at the new collection. The designer gives us a little taste of how he see’s fashion in the future. Some of the models hit the run way hard wearing bright colored bob wigs, while the others wearing overly dramatic baseball hats and even though it may have seemed quirky, there is something special about this collection. Scott’s new Fall / Winter 2018/ 2019 collection is not for people who takes themselves too seriously. This collection is a reminder of how fashion and freedom of self expression are a perfect match.
I do have to say, that the big “space men” style boots were cool to see come down the runway but there was one pair of gold knee high “space” boots that everyone took seriously. The golden model walked out with a kick ass gold cropped jacket and black body suit setting the runway on fire (work Girl)! And then there was Gigi, who looked gorgeous as usual, and the girl can pull off a purple bob👏🏽. She wore my second and third favorite looks of the Collection, which she pulled off perfectly of course. Jeremy Scott’s Fall/Winter 2018/2019 Collection was meant to have fun with your style.
